Special stress has been laid on discussing the morning prayer, Japji, the establishment of the institutions of sangat and langar and messages for improving the status of women.

It also has maps depicting the travels of Guru Nanak. Roopinder Singh read Philosophy at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He worked as a journalist New York and Chandigarh where he retired as Senior Associate Editor, The Tribune.
