Military Literature Festival, Chandigarh

Listening to Amardeep Singh speak on “Ranjit Singh’s Empire – Frontier Consolidation & Campaigns in Gilgit, Baltistan & Tibet,” at the Military Literature Festival, Chandigarh, on November 8, 2025, was a pleasure. I have an old association with the speaker and the festival. The Tribune has been a media partner of the festival since its beginning, and we brought out many special supplements focused on the festival and its speakers. Once there, I always pose with The Tribune Wall and visit stalls where I meet old friends. I met someone who reminded me of an old article I wrote: "The world & words of warriors."
