Releasing Powar's Punjabi book

We released Ranjit Powar’s book "Raen Bhaee Chahu Des" at the Chandigarh Press Club on November 11, 2025. Published by Lahore Book Shop, Ludhiana, the book is the Punjabi translation of the author's original work, "Dust Over Mustard Fields," which received critical acclaim. Listening to the author and the columnist and writer Nirupama Dutt was a treat, and I am sure that this story, inspired by actual events, shaped by the political and social upheavals of the Partition, told from the perspective of 16-year-old Nimmo, will find wide resonance.
